![]() ![]() Although there was a shift away from the some of the things I loved about the first book – mostly the actual games of Warcross, not gonna lie – this book was a worthy sequel!! I read it in 3 hrs straight, heart pounding like crazy the entire time – there are very few books that can illicit that kind of reaction from me! I initially tried to write a spoiler free review, but the sheer amount of plot, and the pace at which the plot happened, was such a key strength of this book that I found it impossible. To say Wildcard was one of my most anticipated reads of the year is an understatement. ![]() Why did I want to read? I loved Warcross, and that.
